Asian Actuarial Conference 2026 • In compliance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA)

This Privacy Policy applies to the Asian Actuarial Conference 2026 ("AAC 2026"), organised by the Singapore Actuarial Society (SAS). We are committed to protecting the personal data of all individuals in accordance with the Singapore PDPA.

  • Organisation / company name and job title
  • Dietary requirements
  • Event preferences (Gala Dinner, activities)
  • Payment information (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
  • IP address and browser information (for security and PDPA audit purposes)

3. Purposes of Collection

Your personal data is collected and used for the following purposes:

  • Processing your event registration and payment
  • Sending registration confirmation, payment receipts, and event updates
  • Preparing your delegate badge and event materials
  • Managing dietary, accommodation, and activity arrangements
  • Compiling delegate lists shared with event sponsors and co-organisers (name, organisation, country only)
  • Contacting you about future SAS events and publications (with your consent)
  • Complying with legal, regulatory, and audit obligations

4. Disclosure of Personal Data

We may share your personal data with:

  • Event vendors and suppliers (e.g. venue, catering, badge printing) strictly for event delivery
  • Co-organising actuarial associations of AAC 2026
  • Event sponsors — limited to name, organisation, and country for delegate directory purposes
  • Stripe — for payment processing (Stripe's Privacy Policy applies)
  • Government or regulatory bodies where required by law

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

Data collected in connection with AAC 2026 will be retained for a period of up to 7 years following the Event for legal, financial, and audit purposes, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised.

Under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccuracies in your personal data
  • Withdraw consent for uses beyond the primary event purposes (note: this may affect your registration)

7. Do Not Call (DNC) Registry

Where we wish to contact you by phone or SMS for marketing communications, we will check the Singapore Do Not Call (DNC) Registry and obtain your express consent where required.
